 Description

The DIA71043 is a CAN transceiver that meets the

ISO11898-2 and SAE J2284-1 to SAEJ2284-5,

physical layer standards. The device is designed to

be used in CAN FD networks up to 5 Mbps and

features ±58 V extended fault protection on the CAN

bus. The DIA71043 has an I/O power supply for

interface I/O to connect to microcontrollers with

supply voltages from 2.5 V to 5.5 V.

The DIA71043 controls the external regulator by the

INH output pin to reduce battery power consumption

at the system level. The device comes with a standby

mode, which can be woken up from the CAN bus.

When a wake-up event is detected, the DIA71043

initiates system start-up by driving INH high.

The DIA71043 integrated several protection and

diagnostic functions, including short-circuit detection,

to enhance the device’s and network’s robustness.

The DIA71043 is available in DFN4.5×3-14 package.

It is specified over ambient temperature range of

-40°C to 125°C, which meets the requirements of

automotive applications.
