Description

RClamp®03372ZC is an ultra low capacitance

“FemtoClampTM” ESD protection device specifically

designed to protect high-speed differential lines. It

offers desirable characteristics for board level protection

including fast response time, low operating and

clamping voltage, and no device degradation.

RClamp03372ZC features extremely good ESD

protection characteristics highlighted by low peak ESD

clamping voltage, and high ESD withstand voltage (+/-

10kV contact per IEC 61000-4-2). RClamp03372ZC has

a typical capacitance of 0.22pF allowing it to be used

on Thunderbolt and USB 3.2 high speed lanes. These

devices may also be used for EOS protection due to their

high peak pulse current capability (9A, tp = 8/20μs).

Each device will protect two high-speed data line

operating up to 3.3 volts.

RClamp03372ZC is in a 3-pin DFN package. It measures

0.62 x 0.32mm with a nominal height of only 0.25mm.

The combination of small size and high ESD surge

capability makes them ideal for use in portable

applications such as cellular phones, digital cameras, and

tablets.
