NSC公司简介
美国国家半导体的主要市场包括无线耳机、显示器及多个广泛的电子市场,包括医学、汽车、工业与试验与测量应用。美国国家半导体于1959年5月27日由数名斯派里公司(SperryRandCorporation)的工程师创立,多年来收购了数家公司,如在1987年收购仙童半导体公司与在1997年收购Cyrix。但随着时间的过去美国国家半导体开始分拆该些收购得来的公司,仙童半导体在1997年再次成为独立公司,Cyrix微处理器部门在1999年出售予台湾的威盛电子,资讯设备部门(“互联网小器具”高度整合式处理器)在2003年出售予超微,其他业务如数位无线芯片组亦于近期关闭,而美国国家半导体已转型为一家高性能类比半导体公司。2011年4月4日,德州仪器宣布以65亿美元收购美国国家半导体。[1]两家公司于2011年9月23日正式合并
