 Description

The DIA2240 device is an automotive qualified

voltage output and current sense amplifier with

enhanced PWM rejection. The device sense drops

across the shunt resistor over a wide common-mode

voltage range of -4 V to 110 V independent of the

operating supply. The device achieves ultra-high

precision current measurement accuracy under the

combination of features such as an ultra-low offset

voltage, a small gain error, and a high DC CMRR.

The enhanced PWM rejection function provides a

high level of suppression of large common-mode

transients (ΔV/Δt) in systems that use pulse width

modulation (PWM) signals. With this feature, the

DIA2240 minimizes output interference and ringing

during common-mode conversion. The device

operates from a single power supply from 2.7 V to 5.5

V and consumes a low supply current. Four fixed

gains are available: 20 V/V, 50 V/V, 100 V/V, and 200

V/V.

The DIA2240 is available in TSSOP8 and SOIC-8

package. It is specified over ambient temperature

range of -40°C to 125°C, which meets the

requirements of automotive applications.
