The PSM24… power supply module supplies

the excom N system with power to the full extension. The power supply module can be

used in Zone 2.

The supply voltage is 24 VDC.

The external power supply is connected via

clamps on the module rack. The clamps

should not be contacted in energized state.

They are located below a closure cap. Switch

off power before contact.

Redundancy:

Two power supply units can be installed in

combination with a suitable module rack. In

case of power cut or failure of one device, the

second unit provides the power for the whole

system. Different potentials can be supplied.

PSM24-N compatibility mode:

The PSM24-N can be replaced by the new

PSM24-N.1 or both can be operated in parallel on a module rack.

Important note:

When changing from the PSM24-N to the new

PSM24-N.1, the knurled screw must be removed from the module rack. The PSM24-

N.1 is switched on and de-energized using the

provided locking clip PSM24-LC.

IoT mode:

In IoT mode, additional data can be provided.

The PSM24-N.1 power supply module cannot

be operated in compatibility mode in this scenario. Evaluation is carried out via the excom

Ethernet gateway GEN-… with a firmware version ï 1.5.2.0. The following data is provided: power supply module available; maintenance recommended acc. to NE107; output

current too high; actual input voltage; input

voltage undershot or overshot; lowest input

voltage; highest input voltage; operating hours

counter; expected remaining lifetime.
