Application Information

The TIP815 is an IndustryPack compatible module with a complete ARCNET interface using the controller COM20020. The COM20020 contains the ARCNET controller with transceiver and Dual Port RAM. Various network topologies are supported (Star, Tree, Bus).

The TIP815 is ideal suited for industrial / factory automation and automotive applications.

Two interface types of the TIP815 are available: the TIP815-10R/-11R offer the traditional isolated hybrid interface and the TIP815-20R/-21R provide an isolated

RS485 differential driver interface. Two speed grades of the TIP815 are available: the TIP815-10R/-11R/-20R offer 2.5 Mbps and the TIP815-21R provides 5 Mbps.

The TIP815-TM-10R transition module provides a BNC connector in a 6U front panel and bus termination capabilities.

Software support (TIP815-SW-xx) is available for different operating systems.
