• Capable of handling up to twelvefold-speed playback

• Can read subcode-Q data for each byte from the sub CPU

• Real-time subcode (R to W) error correction

• Serial transfer of commands to CD DSP

• Connectable with standard DRAM of up to 8M bits (1024K bytes)

• DRAM bit width selectable for 8 bits or 16 bits
