DESCRIPTION

A pumped mortar purpose-designed for filling joints

and gaps in precast concrete units without the need

for formwork. The thixotropic qualities of the mortar

and non-shrink additives allow it to stay in place

without slumping and to provide a complete high

strength bond between sections. Before forming an

initial set, it can be tooled off to provide a complete

and smooth joint.

The material can be used for placing in horizontal and

vertical gaps of 5mm to 100mm where a cementitious

mortar infill is required and flow grouting is inappropriate.

It requires only the addition of water on site

and is mixed using a drill and paddle followed by hand

or mechanical pump placement. For larger jobs mixer

pumps can be used. Parex Thixotropic Joint Filler (TJF)

is chloride-free and can be safely used in contact with

steel reinforcement.
