Overview

The LB11827 is a three-phase brushless motor driver that is optimal for driving drum and paper feed motors in laser printers and plain paper copiers. This IC adopts a direct PWM drive technique for minimal power loss. Flexible control of motor speed in response to an externally provided clock frequency (corresponding to the FG

frequency) can be implemented by using the LB11827 in conjunction with the Sanyo LB11825M.

• Speed discriminator + PLLspeed control

• Speed locked state detection output
