Product Description

The RC11X0-MBUS RF Transceiver Module is a compact surface-mounted high performance

module with embedded Wireless M-Bus protocol. This data sheet applies for the non-

European version of the Wireless M-Bus and complies to EN 13757-4 except for channel

frequencies. Different frequencies for S, T and R mode are implemented to support the

powerful wireless M-Bus protocol where the nominal operational frequencies are not license

free. EN 13757-4 is an open standard which aims for equipment interoperation and has

dedicated modes optimized for battery operated devices. The network topology is point to

multipoint or peer to peer with an optional repeater. The module has a UART interface for

serial communication and -configuration and a one-pin antenna connection. When used with

quarter-wave antennas a line-of-sight range of over 800 meters can be achieved (2-3 km for

High Power version).
