DESCRIPTION

The SPS-8340G series single mode transceiver is small form factor pluggable module for bi-directional serial optical dat a communicat ions such as 4x/2x/ 1x Fibre Channel and 1000BASE Ethernet . It is with t he SFP 20- pin connector to allow hot plug capability . This module is designed for single mode fiber and operates at a nominal wave length of 1550 nm. The transmitter secti on uses a 1550 nm multiple quantum well DFB laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.
