The NCP45496 is a high−performance monolithic IC which can be

used to monitor the power on two high−voltage power supplies

simultaneously. The voltage and current on each bus are measured and

converted to a power signal that is output as a current. The power of

multiple busses may be summed by connecting the power current

signals (IPWRx). The power signal for each channel is also sampled

by an internal ADC and made available over an SVID bus. It also

includes a low−latency open−drain ALARM signal that is produced by

comparing the power of each bus to its individually programmable

threshold level. If either bus exceeds the programmed power threshold

the low−latency ALARM signal will be pulled low. The SVID bus is

used to program the ALARM levels.
