1. General description

ESD protection device in a small SOT23 Surface-Mounted Device (SMD) plastic package,

designed to protect two automotive in-vehicle network bus lines from the damage caused by

ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) and other transients.

2. Features and benefits

• Reverse stand-off voltage: VRWM = 24 V

• High Surge Current robustness; IEC 61000-4-5 (surge); IPPM = 9 A at tp = 8/20 μs

• Low clamping voltage: VCL = 29.5 V at Ipp = 1 A

• Low capacitance: Cd = 25 pF

• ESD protection up to 30 kV (IEC 61000-4-2)

• ESD protection up to 30 kV (ISO 10605; contact discharge; C = 330 pF, R = 330 Ω)

• ISO 7637-2 pulse 3a/3b = -220 V / +150 V

• ISO 7637-2 pulse 2a = +90 V

• Qualified according to AEC-Q101 and recommended for use in automotive applications
