The µPD6P5 is a microcontroller for infrared remote control transmitters which is provided with a one-time PROM as the program memory.

Because users can write programs for the µPD6P5, it is ideal for program evaluation and small-scale production of the application systems using the µPD64A or 65.

• Built-in carrier generation circuit for infrared remote control

• Stack level : 1 level (Stack RAM is for data memory RF as well.)

• Sense input pin (S0, S2) : 2 units

• S1/LED pin (I/O) : 1 unit (In output mode, this is the remote control transmission display pin.)
