DATEL’s new DTL2A is an optically isolated, digitally programmable, serial-input, electronic load. It is essentially a digitally controlled current source that can sink currents from 0 to 20 Amps, at loading voltages from 2.5 to 50 Volts, up to a maximum power of 100 Watts. The DTL2A is packaged in a thermally effi cient, 2 x 2 x 0.5 metal package that incorporates an aluminum baseplate with through-hole spacers for easy pcb mounting and/or external heat-sink attachment.
