The amplifier's input-output satellite paths

are DC pass-through and supply the

appropriate internal amplifiers (a supply

voltage of 12 to 18 V DC comes from the

satellite input of a multiswitch or power

switch connected to the amplifier outputs). If

no DC voltage is present at the satellite

input or output of the amplifier, the amplifier

can be powered from an external 12-20V

DC power supply (recommended PA12

power supply) via the power connector. This

DC voltage appears at each satellite input

and output of the amplifier and can be used

to power another unit in cascade or for an

LNB.
