CS3844/45提供所有必要的功能来实现离线固定频率电流模式控制与外部的最低数量组件。CS3844系列采用了新的精确的温度控制振荡器尽量减少频率的变化。内部切换触发器，空白输出每隔时钟周期，占空比范围限制低于50％。欠压锁定确保VREF是稳定的输出级之前启用。在CS2844/CS3844又出现在16V和关闭在10V。在CS2845/CS3845又是在8.4V关闭在7.6V。其他功能还包括低启动目前，脉冲，脉冲电流限制，和高电流的图腾柱输出驱动容性负载，如作为一个功率MOSFET的栅极。输出在关机状态下是低的，一致的N沟道器件。
