CP2200 单芯片以太网控制器包含一个符合 IEEE 802.3 标准的集成媒体访问控制器 (MAC)、一个 10Base-T 物理层 (PHY)，以及一个封装为 TQFP48 (9 x 9 mm) 的 8 kB 非易失性闪存。 该器件可利用 11 个或以上的端口 I/O 引脚，将以太网连接添加至任意微处理器或主处理器。8–位外部存储器接口总线可为符合行业标准的英特尔和摩托罗拉总线格式，提供多路复用和非多路复用模式的支持。
